Optimizing the Order Form & Price Calculator

Problem Statement

The original order form for the package delivery service was inefficient and lacked optimization, making it difficult for customers to navigate. Users often encountered issues with address input, pricing clarity, and order confirmation, and they felt more confortable with calling to make an order, which really inconvenienced the company. My goal was to refine the form's logic, improve user experience, and ensure seamless pricing updates.

How the Price Calculator Works

The price calculator dynamically adjusts based on user inputs, such as package dimensions, distance, and optional services like insurance. I implemented a logic that ensures real-time updates and prevents incorrect pricing when users change their selections.

Results

During this project, I utilized almost all the features JotForm has to offer, from advanced conditional logic and dynamic pricing calculations to embedded widgets and custom styling. I worked extensively with form automation, validation rules, and real-time field updates to ensure a seamless user experience.

This hands-on experience not only deepened my understanding of JotForm’s capabilities but also strengthened my ability to create efficient, user-friendly digital forms.
